Arturo Ponciano, Project Manager
Originally from Guatemala, Arturo Ponciano, LEED Green Associate, received a Bachelor of Architecture at the University of Miami, Florida. His professional career spans over a decade. He worked at Michael Graves & Associates for several years, where he was involved in the successful completion of U.S. General Services Administration projects such as the Department of Transportation and Washington Courthouse, both in Washington D.C., and institutional projects such as Temple University Fox School of Business in Philadelphia, The Arts Council of Princeton. International projects he has worked on span the globe, from Nishinippon University Design Institute in Japan, to St. Regis Cairo.
Arturo joined JZA+D in 2009 for an opportunity to pursue a contemporary design aesthetic that is both socially responsive and budget conscious. This is exemplified by projects such as Pristine Fine Dry Cleaning in Princeton, NJ; Zio Gelato in Las Vegas, NV; Moonlight Noodle House in Macao, China; and the award winning Waku Ghin Restaurant in Singapore. He currently lives in Philadelphia with his wife and son.
