In a typical office layout, executive offices line the perimeter, blocking natural light to the open workstation areas. For this project, JZA+D modified the hierarchical layout to create an open plan that maximized the amount of natural light for the entire office rather than a few individuals. The executive offices were moved to the corners and fitted with interior windows so sunlight could shine through.

Daylight penetrates farther into the building interior, reducing the lighting demand on the space. In addition to this power-saving move; recycled materials, renewable resources, and motion sensors that conserve electricity in vacant rooms were used. Corporate growth was another significant factor in the design, resulting in an open area ready for expansion if needed.
