JZA+D was tasked to redesign the ground floor of a three-story atrium lobby. The design team removed ficus trees and installed large-format porcelain tiles resembling limestone over existing terrazzo. Retaining as many existing elements as possible, such as rose-colored marble on the walls, the project team selected new design elements and finishes—panels of dark neutral-tone zebra wood veneer, for example—to complement what was retained.

JZA+D also introduced a retail coffee kiosk (with support kitchen) with a design inspired by wrapped luxury chocolates. The café kiosk ceiling and walls feature chic pendant lighting and gold-colored metal panels with laser-cut circles of varying size, backlit to give them a glowing appearance.
The seating area is defined by an oval-shaped area of carpeting tiles, floated above floor level rather than inset. Furniture with integrated phone-charging ports includes tables and chairs of varying heights, a hotel lobby-inspired touch that offers choices for patrons.
