989 Lenox Drive Exterior

Architecture + Interior Design
Lawrenceville, NJ

In 2013, Prism Partners acquired the Princeton Pike Corporate Center office park, which was constructed in the late 1980’s. To update the property to reflect modern standards, they began interior and exterior renovations at 989 Lenox Drive, one of the oldest buildings on the property. To achieve an updated exterior, JZA+D opened up the cast-concrete walls and created a curtain wall with louvers to control sunlight. This exterior element creates a new face for the structure, allowing daylight to stream freely into the lobby. Additional interior improvements utilize simple, modern materials, such as porcelain tile, reflecting a modest, yet contemporary aesthetic.

New amenities spaces, including lounge areas, a conference center, and new full-service cafe have also been created. A convenient pedestrian connection from the parking side to the landscaped courtyard improves pedestrian and vehicular circulation. The finished design provides building tenants with a convenient, welcoming environment, with visually exciting common spaces that encourage interaction with fellow colleagues.
