Rowan University Library

Architecture + Interior Design
Glassboro, NJ

Rowan University engaged JZA+D for the interior remodeling and renovation of the existing reading room and ancillary spaces located on the second floor of Campbell Library. The major goal for the project was to improve the space to meet student needs, by adding breakout rooms, computer stations, power/data outlets and charging stations, as well as new finishes and furniture.

Four new break-out rooms were created, each accommodating 6 people and incorporating features such as whiteboards and LCD screens. Microfiche stations were replaced with 10 new computer stations. JZA+D subsequently completed other renovations within Campbell Library, including the first-floor Circulation Desk area and the second-floor Reference Desk space.
